Lotte Verbeek (born 24 June 1982) is a Dutch actress born in Venlo, the Netherlands.[1] She won the Leopard for the best actress at the Locarno International Film Festival 2009 for her role in Nothing Personal.[2][3] For the same role she was also the recipient of the best actress award at the International Film Festival of Marrakech in December 2009.[4]
Verbeek received the Shooting Stars Award, the annual acting award for up-and-coming actors by European Film Promotion, at the Berlin International Film Festival 2010.[5]
In 2011, she began playing Giulia Farnese in the historical fiction television series The Borgias.[6]
